Valentine’s Ranking of Milton’s 6 Schools 2025

Valentine’s Ranking of Milton’s 6 Schools 2025

Hey Milton families! I’m Valentin, your Milton Realtor - here with great information on Milton’s top six secondary schools for 2025. Having lived in Milton and sold homes from Beaty to Halton’s acreage, I know schools shape real estate—especially in a town pushing past 150,000 residents. With 7,021 sales in 2024 and detached prices at $1.3M, school zones matter. Here’s my rundown of Milton’s six secondary schools—academics, programs, and family vibes, perfect for your loved ones and your pets!

1. Bishop P.F. Reding Catholic Secondary School

Bishop Reding in Dempsey leads with an 8.0/10 Fraser Institute score (2024). Serving Old Milton and Timberlea, it boasts an 86% literacy pass rate and Level 3 EQAO math. Extended French, arts, and sports (go Royals!) shine. Nearby homes ($1M-$1.3M) sell in under 14 days—hot for 2025!

2. Milton District High School

Central Milton’s public star, Milton District, scores 7.7/10 (2024), with a 90% literacy pass rate. Its Advanced Placement program—open to all Grade 8s—preps kids for college. Clarke and Beaty homes ($1M-$1.5M) offer pet-ready yards near Milton Community Park—a 2025 fave.

3. St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School

St. Francis Xavier in Willmont (7.0/10, 2024) serves Beaty and Harrison. With an 85% literacy rate and a sleek 2013 build, it’s big on sports and arts. Detached homes ($900K-$1.2M) with pet-friendly lots are buzzing as Milton grows in 2025.

4. Craig Kielburger Secondary School

Craig Kielburger in Coates (7.2/10, 2024) offers the rare International Baccalaureate (IB) program. A 75% literacy rate and 2018 expansion fit 1,200+ students from Dempsey and Clarke. Homes ($800K-$1.1M) near Lions Sports Park suit commuters and pets.

5. St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School

St. Kateri in Ford (newer, data-limited) is rising fast. Built for Milton’s south boom, it’s modern with strong community ties—EQAO scores should climb in 2025. Ford’s $1M-$1.3M homes—spacious, pet-ready—are already hot.

6. Elsie MacGill Secondary School

Elsie MacGill in southwest Milton (6.7/10, 2024) is the newest kid on the block, opened in 2022. Scoring 276th of 746 Ontario schools, it’s got I-STEM (Innovation, Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) and a triple gym. Ford and Boyne homes ($1M-$1.3M) nearby offer space for pets—growth potential for 2025!

A highly ranked school increases neighbourhood home values. I just worked with a home buyer who's #1 concern after budget was school rank.
